Starbucks rolls out green cups

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Starbucks is kicking off a new effort to go green Thursday.
The coffee chain will start selling re-usable plastic cups that cost one dollar.
The goal is to cut down on waste by reducing the amount of paper cups being thrown in the trash.
Starbucks already gives a 10-cent discount if you bring in your own cup for refills. They'll do the same for the re-usable cups.
They'll also clean out the re-usable cups with boiling water before each refill.
