Thousands of jobs coming to the auto industry

DETROIT (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Ford says it will add 2,200 engineers, computer programmers and other white-collar workers this year.
That is due to an increased demand for new cars and trucks in the U.S.
Ford says it will use social media to find tech-savvy candidates. It's also stepping up recruitment of military veterans.
Honda is also adding 50 new jobs when is starts building a new plant in Ohio later this year.
Nissan says it will hire 400 people by the end of next year at a production plant in Mississippi.
