LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY

UNTIL 9 PM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY for Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Berrien, Cass, and St. Joe counties until 9 PM.  2" to 6" of snow are possible on northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph bringing lake effect snow bands near and across US 131, at times.  Some locations will see more than 6", especially closer to Lake Michigan.  Roads are slippery and become more tricky once the sun sets.

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Continued care after a major procedure can make the difference between a speedy or slow recovery, and in extreme cases even life or death.

In Thursday's Doc Talk, Marcie Kobriger introduces us to a cardiac patient who came in for a check up, that wound up saving his life.
