FROST ADVISORY

MIDNIGHT TO 8 AM

The National Weather Service has issued a FROST ADVISORY for the following counties in West Michigan, effective Saturday morning through 8 o'clock: Kent, Ionia, Montcalm, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Oceana. Precautions should be taken to protect tender vegetation in the Advisory area. Cold air overnight Friday-Saturday could lead to scattered areas of frost. Doc Talk: Affecting outcomes of Alzheimer
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A staggering one-in-three American seniors will die from some form of Alzheimer's or dementia.

That statistic comes from a report released earlier this week by the Alzheimer's Association.

What's more alarming--the number of seniors suffering from the elusive disease is expected to grow.

But, as Newschannel 3's Marcie Kobriger reports in this week's Doc Talk, studies being done across the country, including trials here in Kalamazoo, are hoping to change that expected outcome.
