Romney to visit Grand Rapids on tour

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Mitt Romney is hoping to turn the tides of recent election history, and get Michigan's vote in November.
Michigan hasn't gone red in the Presidential election since 1988, when George H.W. Bush overwhelmed Democratic candidate Michael Dukakis.
As a result, Romney, the presumptive Republican nominee, has announced a new bus tour focused on drumming up votes.
It will roll through Grand Rapids next week, where he'll attend a fundraiser on Wednesday.
The latest polls show Romney with a slight edge over President Obama in Michigan, but the race is very nearly a statistical dead-heat right now.
