Some given more time to complete healthcare applications story image
WASHINGTON, D.C. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The countdown is on to get covered.

The Obama administration announced Tuesday night that it's granting more time for people to apply for health care, but only if they've already started an application and are unable to complete it before the March 31st deadline.

Administrators are expecting a last-minute rush to healthcare.gov.

Those who do not have insurance this year will face a penalty.
