New vaccine guidelines for pregnant women

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) – There are new health recommendations for pregnant woman.
The Centers for Disease Control now says all pregnant women in their third trimester should get the T-DAP vaccine.
It protects against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis, also known as whooping cough.
The CDC says the mother's body turns the vaccine into protective antibodies that pass to the fetus.
