Study: Life expectancy for women declining

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A new study offers more evidence that life expectancy for some women in the U.S. is actually falling.
Experts can't explain it.
The latest research found that women age 75 and younger are dying at higher rates than previous years in nearly half of the country.
Many of them are from rural areas in the south and west.
Some researchers blame higher smoking rates, obesity and a lower level of education.
Life expectancy for men has held steady or improved.
