(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Health officials say an Ebola outbreak is unlikely here in the United States.

An outbreak has already killed more than 600 people in West Africa since March.

Currently, there are no travel restrictions to the region hit by the disease.

However, last month, the CDC issued a mid-level travel advisory for health workers.

Two American aid workers in Liberia have tested positive for the virus and are being treated in Africa.

Health officials say it's important for people to know that those with Ebola are not contagious until they show symptoms.
