New trend in health food: cold-pressed juice

New trend in health food: cold-pressed juice story image

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A new trend in health foods is organic, cold-pressed juice, and some people are spending a pretty penny to try it out.

Unlike juicers that use heated blades, cold-pressing squeezes fruits and vegetables with six tons of pressure.

Fans of the drink believe it provides more vitamins and nutrients.

The healthy treat isn't cheap, though, as one bottle can cost up to $9.

Business analysts say it's too early to tell if the trend will last, saying consumers are still discovering the benefits and weighing the value.
