Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for our Indiana bordering counties of Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch.  It doesn't mean it won't be foggy there!  The combination of yesterday evening's rainfall, light winds while you were sleeping, and our unusually cool airmass is a near perfect recipe for visibilities under a mile and perhaps as low as 1/4 mile.  This is enough to change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning, and slow it down if you can.  Stay with for your weather!

C-section babies have higher risk of obesity

Updated: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 |
(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A new study say babies born by C-section are more likely to be obese as adults than babies born naturally.

Researchers say most of the C-section babies they studied had lower birth weights.

But, by the time they were 11-years-old they were almost twice as likely to be overweight or obese compared to children born naturally.

Scientists believe this is due to C-section babies not being exposed to an important bacteria during birth.
