(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Medical researchers say that a popular sports supplement may contain a party drug.

They say 'Craze' may contain a compound similar to meth.

Stores have started taking it off their shelves, and researchers say it was never tested in humans before hitting the market.

A Harvard professor warns that supplements are not given the same testing the government requires for medication.

Marketed by Driven Sports Incorporated, researchers say 'Craze' is less potent than ephedra, which the FDA banned in 2003.
