LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY

UNTIL 9 PM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY for Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Berrien, Cass, and St. Joe counties until 9 PM.  2" to 6" of snow are possible on northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph bringing lake effect snow bands near and across US 131, at times.  Some locations will see more than 6", especially closer to Lake Michigan.  Roads are slippery and become more tricky once the sun sets.

Researchers look at symptoms of degenerative brain disease

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - CTE is a degenerative brain disease that can affect anyone exposed to repeated trauma--like athletes and veterans.

Now, new research is shedding light on some of the first symptoms of the alzheimers-like disease that a patient might experience.
