ATLANTA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The first signs of autism may show up in the first month of a child's life.

That's the finding of a study by the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta.

Researchers used eye tracking technology to study babies from birth to three years.

They found that all the babies tracked their mother's eye movement, but babies who were later diagnosed with autism followed their mom's eyes less as early as one month old.
