OCEANSIDE, Calif. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We're digging deeper tonight into the tragic apparent suicide of former NFL linebacker Junior Seau.
The 43-year-old was found dead in his Oceanside home yesterday with a gunshot wound to the chest.
His family said he sent four text messages before he died to his ex-wife and children that simply said, "I love you."
Tonight, a former NFL player is speaking out about Seau's death.
He believes Seau's apparent suicide is the result of brain damage caused by repeated hits to the head.
