I-Team: Failure to Report
Updated: Saturday, August 3 2013, 01:09 AM EDT
WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A three-month long Newschannel 3 I-Team investigation discovered leaders at many high schools in West Michigan didn't report attendance figures correctly to the state of Michigan.
By law, all school administrators must report any students with ten or more unexcused absences.
Newschannel 3 Chief Investigative Reporter David Bailey joined us to share how this failure to report is turning into a huge waste of money.
