The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH for the following counties in West Michigan, effective from late Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon: Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph, and Branch. A strong storm moving across the Ohio Valley will bring periods of heavy snow to the Watch area late Tuesday night through early Wednesday afternoon. Accumulations between 3-6" are possible. Additionally, strong winds will cause blowing and drifting snow. The Wednesday morning commute will likely be hazardous in the Watch area. Stay with Newschannel 3 and wwmt.com for the latest updates.
