
Rep. Upton announces Vet Success Center

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Colleges in southwest Michigan are coming together to help military veterans pursue higher education.
An announcement was made about the program today.
The center will host a "Vet-success" campus program to help ex-military members transition from active duty to campus life.
Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo valley Community College and Kellogg Community College will all be participating in the program.
U.S. Representative Fred Upton was at today's announcement on the WMU campus.
He says the program will assist veterans on many different levels, from help with financial aid to discussing a game plan for college.
