CALIFORNIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - It was a terrifying meal for diners at a California restaurant after a high speed chase ended with a car crashing into customers.

Police spotted a suspect wanted in a domestic assault incident Tuesday and the chase began.

The high speed pursuit came to an end after the car hit another car in an intersection, pushing it into the sidewalk.

People enjoying their meals on the sidewalk outside the restaurant scrambled to get out of the car's path.

One person was pinned against the wall but was thankfully able to walk away.

Four people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
