FROST ADVISORY

MIDNIGHT TO 8 AM

The National Weather Service has issued a FROST ADVISORY for the following counties in West Michigan, effective Saturday morning through 8 o'clock: Kent, Ionia, Montcalm, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Oceana. Precautions should be taken to protect tender vegetation in the Advisory area. Cold air overnight Friday-Saturday could lead to scattered areas of frost. The threat will be over shortly after the sun rises and begins heating the atmosphere.

Hilton Worldwide going high tech

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Hilton Worldwide is going high tech. Guests will soon be able to use their smartphones to access their hotel rooms.

They'll also be able to choose their room, check in and make special requests from their mobile devices.

Digital check-in will be available at more than 4,000 Hilton Worldwide properties worldwide by the end of this year.

Hilton plans to switch from room keys to smartphones by the end of 2015.
