Hacker targets dozens of female celebrities, posts private photos story image

LOS ANGELES (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A hacker has targeted dozens of female celebrities, posting their naked cellphone pictures online.

Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton are among the victims.

A publicist for Lawrence released a statement slamming the posts on social media sites as a "flagrant violation of privacy," and said that anyone who posts the "stolen photos" would be prosecuted.

The pictures were taken from cloud accounts.

Twitter has removed them, and says it's shutting down accounts that post them.
