DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for St. Joe and Branch counties until 10 AM.  Dense fog has already been observed in many cities in West Michigan including Kalamazoo.  The ADVISORY may be expanded to include more counties.  Burning off fog this time of year is tough thanks to a low sun angle.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.

CALIFORNIA (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A third day of hug waves is expected off the south California coast, thanks to Hurricane Marie far off the coast.

Wednesday, spectators lined the Shore of the Wedge in Newport Beach to watch the world's best surfers ride 20-foot waves.

Lifeguards have been trying to keep anyone out of the water who does not have strong experience.

They were kept busy rescuing several swimmers throughout the day.
