Military trying to identify body found in wheel well of plane story image

GERMANY (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The military is trying to identify the remains of a stow-away found in the wheel well of a U.S. military plane.

"The deceased was an adolescent black male, possibly of African origin. At this point is it unknown where or when the deceased entered the landing gear wheel well," said Rear Adm. John Kirby.

Crews made the discovery after the C-130 jet landed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

They say the jet left July 19th on an 8-day mission visiting five countries in West Africa and security is not as tight in some of those countries as it should be.
