(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Kids who ignore their parents phone calls or texts could soon be in for a rude awakening.

A Texas mom has developed a new app called Ignore No More.

The app gives parents the ability to lock their child's cellphone until they call their mom or dad back.

Even if the child tries to outwit the app and turn off their phone or take out the battery, the lock is still activiated.

Ignore No More is currently only available for Android phones, but an iPhone version is on the way.
