PETROLIA, California (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The remains of a suspected killer featured on CNN's "The Hunt with John Walsh" have been found in northern California.

Shane Miller was the prime suspect in the deaths of his wife and two young daughters. He had been on the run since May of 2013.

Police say Miller's remains were found not far from where his truck was located in Petrolia, California, last year.

Miller was featured in the first episode of The Hunt.

Just last week an alleged child molester who was also featured on "The Hunt with John Walsh" was killed in a shootout with New York police.
