The National Weather Service issues a SEVERE TSTORM WARNING for Newaygo, Mecosta Counties through 8:30 A. Gusty winds greater than 60 mph and quarter-inch hail are possible with storms tracking E at 25 mph.

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The severe drought in the southwest is pushing some cities to try to make their own rain.

They're sending planes up on cloud seeding missions, in an effort to get rain on the ground.

Omar Villafranca went up with one plane to see how it works.
