LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY for Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Berrien, Cass, and St. Joe counties until 9 PM.  2" to 6" of snow are possible on northwest winds of 15 to 20 mph bringing lake effect snow bands near and across US 131, at times.  Some locations will see more than 6", especially closer to Lake Michigan.  Roads are slippery and become more tricky once the sun sets.

SMITH COUNTY, Texas (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Summer in the city just got creepier.

Australian researchers have found that spiders tend to grow bigger in big cities.

Texas biologists say the heat from the concrete leads to warmer temperatures that make spiders grow larger.

These creepy crawlers also have more to eat in big cities, and less eating them.
