HOLLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Despite one of its construction contractors going into bankruptcy, a West Michigan company's new building is open Thursday afternoon on time as part of a major expansion in Ottawa County.

JR Automation is expanding in Holland, now opening a new 40,000 square foot, $1.5 million building.

An increase in business forced this quick expansion with construction just starting in April, but it was complicated when a contractor erecting the steel went bankrupt.

This new building will serve a wide variety of customers include the automotive, furniture, aerospace and pharmaceutical industries.
