WIND ADVISORY

10 AM Until 2 AM Saturday

The National Weather Service maintains a WIND ADVISORY for nearly all of West Michigan from 10 AM this morning until 2 AM Saturday morning.  45 mph gusts are likely inland while 50 mph gusts are possible at the Lake Shore.  This kind of wind is capable of bringing down tree branches and creating some power outages.  Obviously, we hope that doesn't happen.  Winds blow from the northwest this morning then from the north by midday and beyond.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather today and always!

SAN FRANCISCO (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Comstock Township native who had been on life support in San Francisco, following an assault four days ago, has died.

31-year-old Bryan Higgins was taken off life support Wednesday afternoon at a San Francisco hospital.

His sister in law says that Higgins is on the national organ donors list and that all of his organs are being donated.

She said, "No foreign substances (drugs or alcohol) were found in Bryan's body and because he was a very heathy young man all of his organs are in perfect condition. For the next several days, even in his afterlife, he continues to give, show, and be love."
