Man in critical condition after rollover crash story image

TALLMADGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Marne man is in critical condition after he rolled his vehicles saturday night.

It happened on Luce Street about a quarter of a mile west of Eighth Ave. in Tallmadge Township.

Deputies say 21-year-old Evan Westrate was driving his Ford truck west on Luce Street when he missed a curve, lost control and went off the right side of the road.

Police say the vehicle then went back on the road where it rolled and Westrate was ejected in the middle of the road. It landed right-side-up and struck several mailboxes.

Westrate was transported to Spectrum Hospital. Police say speed and alcohol are believe to be a factor in this crash.
