DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for our Indiana bordering counties of Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch.  It doesn't mean it won't be foggy there!  The combination of yesterday evening's rainfall, light winds while you were sleeping, and our unusually cool airmass is a near perfect recipe for visibilities under a mile and perhaps as low as 1/4 mile.  This is enough to change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning, and slow it down if you can.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather!

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Deputies in Ottawa County are looking into a robbery and abduction from early Thursday morning.

According to reports, a 24-year-old female was parked in her vehicle at Brook Meadow Apartments, when a black man got into her car, pulled a knife, and demanded that she drive to Grand Rapids.

As she reached the west side of the city, the suspect made her withdraw money from an ATM, and drop him off in the area of Fulton and Lane.

The woman then immediately drove to a police substation.

The suspect is described as a black man, weighing about 180 pounds, between 20 and 30 years of age, and has a beard. He was wearing a white ball cap with a blue bill, a white t-shirt, and khaki-style cut-off cargo shorts.
