DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for all of West Michigan until 10 AM.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.  Light winds, ample moisture near the ground are encouraging the formation of dense fog.  Because temperatures are near freezing, a light coating of ice may form on some road surfaces making them slick.  Please keep it safe this morning as you head back to work and school.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Grand Rapids police are investigating after a teenager was shot in the face.

It happened around 9:30 Monday night on Kalamazoo Avenue just north of Hall Street.

Police say someone fired multiple shots, hitting the 18-year-old while he was in his car.

The car skidded into the intersection of Kalamazoo, Hall and Butler Avenue.

A Good Samaritan passing by found the victim and took him to the hospital.

Police say the victim's injury is not considered life-threatening.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Grand Rapids police or Silent Observer.
