DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 10 AM

The National Weather Service issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for all of West Michigan until 10 AM.  Fog may linger in some locations until midday.  Light winds, ample moisture near the ground are encouraging the formation of dense fog.  Because temperatures are near freezing, a light coating of ice may form on some road surfaces making them slick.  Please keep it safe this morning as you head back to work and school.

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Two people are taken to the hospital after car runs a red light and crashes into another car in Kalamazoo County.

It happened Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Stadium Drive and Fourth Street in Oshtemo Township.

Kalamazoo County sheriff's deputies tell Newschannel 3 a black Lexus was northbound on Fourth when it ran a red light, hitting a blue sedan that was westbound on Stadium.

Deputies say the driver of the sedan on Stadium and the passenger in the Lexus both suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
