DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for our Indiana bordering counties of Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch.  It doesn't mean it won't be foggy there!  The combination of yesterday evening's rainfall, light winds while you were sleeping, and our unusually cool airmass is a near perfect recipe for visibilities under a mile and perhaps as low as 1/4 mile.  This is enough to change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning, and slow it down if you can.  Stay with wwmt.com for your weather!

WYOMING, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police are investigating after a man's body is found in a Wyoming creek.

Grand Rapids police tell Newschannel 3 that people who were walking on a nature trail at Plaster Creek Family Park found the body around noon on Saturday.

They say the body was badly decomposed. At first, officers were not able to establish whether the body is male or female.

Grand Rapids officers determined that the body was found on the Wyoming side of the creek and turned the case over to the Wyoming Police Department.

Wyoming officers and firefighters removed the body from the creek. They tell Newschannel 3 the body was that of a 64-year-old white male.

Police are still investigating, but do not consider the death to be suspicious.
