Young girl bitten by Doberman in Hastings Updated: Tuesday, August 5, 2014 HASTINGS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police in Hastings responded to a call for a dog bite last week. It happened on July 28th around 5:30pm in the 100 block of Woodlawn Ave. The 10-year-old girl had left the Bob King Park and was riding her bike on Woodlawn when a Doberman ran up to her and bit her on the right side. The dog's owner admitted that the dog had not been confined. The next day the owner was issued a citation for having a dangerous dog running at large.
