DENSE FOG ADVISORY

Effective Until 11 AM

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issues a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 11 AM for nearly every county in West Michigan save for Berrien, Cass, St. Joe, and Branch counties.  Recent, heavy rainfall, and light winds are the perfect combination for fog production.  Visibilities may be as low as 1/4 mile or lower; that's enough to drastically change how you drive.  Please keep it safe this morning and travel slower, if you have to.  Additional stopping distance isn't a bad idea either.  Stay with wwmt.com for the latest weather updates!

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A proposed half-million dollar expansion at the Barry County 9-1-1 call center has some taxpayers on edge, and Newschannel 3's I-Team on Waste Watch.

In fact, some people say they plan to vote down the facility's 5-year millage when it comes up for renewal this July.

Newschannel 3's Jared Werksma joined us from Barry County with more on the controversy and why some people are so upset.
