Gospel Mission's Shelves Replenished

KALAMAZOO (Newschannel 3) - Last week, when the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission's food pantry shelves were almost empty, they asked the community for help.

On Friday, the community answered, with many businesses making donations to replenish the shelves.

One of those businesses was the First Community Credit Union.

"We truly care about our community, we wanted to make a difference," said Bobbi Morgan, with the Credit Union.

There was also a concert held on Friday evening at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, where collections were taken for the mission.
