Today is our last unusually chilly day; we won't get out of the 40s. The good news is there will be a nice mix of clouds and sun with neither one really dominating. So, at times you'll need your sunglasses and other times definitely not.
A cold and frosty night lies ahead of us as we completely shed our cloud cover and use lighter winds to bring on the 20s. This will be the coldest night of the month. However, these clear skies mean your Friday will begin with a lot of sun and that will propel our afternoon temperatures into the 50s. This is only an appetizer for what will be an even milder weekend.
Just before we get there, conditions will be chilly, but dry for high school playoff football. Good luck to everyone participating. And stay warm in the bleachers; we all know the metal does us no favors! If it weren't for cloud cover Saturday and even an isolated sprinkle or two, we'd see the 60s by the afternoon. As it stands, upper 50s are a nice improvement over this week. Sunshine returns Sunday and guess what??? Lower 60s will dominate with a few locales being even warmer.
Another taste of the 60s starts your brand new workweek next week before a front triggers some showers Monday night and Tuesday. Have a great morning and remember to dial in wwmt.com for the latest weather information anytime you want!
