FRIENDSWOOD, Tex. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police in Texas responded to this 911 call.

"Emergency 911, what is your emergency?"

"I'm at Stoneledge drive. Please! These dogs are fighting in this house and there's a baby in the room where they're fighting!"

Police say  that the dogfight trapped a 13-month-old girl in her crib when an American bulldog and a French bull mastiff escaped from their cages and started fighting.

They say that the parents had left the baby at home alone with her two older brothers, but those brothers both took off running when the dogs started fighting.

Officers did manage to get into the room and rescue the little girl. They say her clothes were covered in blood, but luckily she wasn't hurt.

One of the dogs died from it's wounds, the other went to the local animal impound.

Both parents face charges for felony child endangerment.
