WYOMING (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police in Wyoming say someone tried to kidnap a young girl over the weekend.

It happened Saturday on Waldon Woods Drive just off Byron Center Avenue.

Officers say a black man walked up to three young children playing in a playground and grabbed a girl by the arm.

When she started fighting him, he took off running.

Police say he's older than 40 with black bushy hair. At the time he wore a white and black striped shirt and dark black dress pants.
