Adult foster care home gets help
GRAND RAPIDS (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - An adult foster care home in Grand Rapids has gotten some help from lawmakers in Lansing.
The state house set aside just over 150-thousand dollars for the Pine Rest Dementia Living Center.
Grand Rapids Representative Robert Dean says it's important for the state to make sure it takes care of its most vulnerable residents.
The Pine Rest facility treats patients for both the emotional and physical effects that come with dementia.
