Storms diverted planes to Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Storms in Chicago were forcing planes scheduled to land at O'Hare International Airport to be diverted to Ford International Airport Monday night.

Ford Airport Operations says that the airport is a main-hub for planes diverted from O'Hare. However, Ford International Airport was without power and was running on generators during the diversions.

Flights were back on schedule Tuesday morning.
