They beat a cabbie and stole his van, but didn't get very far in it
Comments 0 | Recommend 0GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Grand Rapids police are looking for a group of men who beat up a cab driver.
It happened just before 2:30 Friday morning on Griggs Street.
A driver for Calder City Cab company says the guys attacked him, then tried to steal his van.
One problem for them though. They sped off and crashed right into a parked car.
The driver says the guys jumped out and ran off.
Police brought out a K-9 unit to try and track them down, but came up empty handed.
The cab driver didn't suffer any major injuries.
