Man sets blood-alcohol record in Rhode Island

RHODE ISLAND (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Rhode Island State Police say that they may have arrested someone with the highest blood-alcohol level ever recorded in the state.

The man blew close to a .5, that's six times the legal limit there.

Police say it's the highest level ever found for someone who wasn't dead.

The man has been released, after promising to show up at a hearing later in the week.
