Kalamazoo, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Public Health Advisory in effect for the Bathing Beach on Long Lake in Portage has been lifted.  The Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department conducted water sampling tests and found a significant improvement in water quality.  Examiners closed the beach after they found excessive levels of E. Coli on the surface of the water near the beach during routine testing on Monday.
