KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - If the kids in Kalamazoo need to cool off, there's a great new option for them.

A new water park is opening on Burrell and Florence Streets.

The Northside Association for Community Development raised $200,000 for the project.

The park will have a colorful frog and a rainbow that will shower kids with cool water.

It opens Friday the Fourth of July.
