Davenport University closing some locations in Michigan, Indiana
Comments 0 | Recommend 0CALEDONIA TOWNSHIP (AP) - Davenport University is closing some of its Michigan and Indiana locations.
The private university says it will close its locations in Bad Axe, Bay City, Lapeer and Romeo by this fall. Sometime down the road, Davenport will also close its two Indiana campuses in Merrilville and South Bend.
Students will be encouraged to attend other Davenport locations or enroll in the school's online degree program.
The school announced earlier that it will close its Dearborn location and open a new campus in Livonia by this fall.
Davenport is based near Grand Rapids, in Kent County's Caledonia Township. It offers degrees in business, technology and health care.
