MARSHALL (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Wednesday marks the fourth anniversary of Marshall woman's disappearance.

Mary Lands disappeared from her apartment in March of 2004.

Her friends and family are holding a vigil of hope Wednesday at noon at the Brooks Memorial Fountain in Marshall. Her case remains open.

A group gathered last year at a vigil as well.

This year they'll release balloons. They're attaching a card to them with Mary's picture and contact information in case anyone sees her.

Those who attend the vigil for Mary will also release balloons for another missing Marshall woman, Courtney Cook.

Cook disappeared after leaving her home on January 19th.
