KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NewsChannel 3) - Pregnant women in the Kalamazoo area will soon have some extra help in ensuring the health of their unborn babies.

Starting this Saturday, Meijer will offer free prenatal vitamins at all 181 of its pharmacies.

In order to receive the vitamins, women will just need a prescription from their doctor.

Most recently, Meijer started offering certain antibiotics free of charge, and the company says both programs are designed to help customers stay healthy during tough economic times.
