RICHLAND (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police say they have busted a meth lab after receiving a tip.

It happened in the 7200 block of North 37th St. near Richland. The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team received a tip that a 21-year-old man was cooking meth and disposing of the chemicals in his backyard and along the roadside.

Police conducted a search of the property last Friday afternoon and found evidence of about 20 prior meth cooks on the property. They also seized a small amount of finished meth.

They believe that the suspect has been making meth on the site since July of this year.

Police have not released the name of the suspect.
